Attended Marquette University where she focused on her education and played intramural tennis and basketball. She received her bachelor’s degree in education and taught for a few years before stepping away to raise her three children. For the past 10 years she has taught Special Education in Texas and is currently teaching 9th grade Special Education, serves in the following roles: Team Lead for the Special Education Department, New Teacher Mentor, Special Olympics Coach, and Community-Based Social Skills Coordinator.
